Located in the Middle East the country is mostly sandy desert.
There are 27 million people and 16,000 sq miles of irrigated land
producing tomatoes, barley, wheat, melons, citrus, dates, mutton, chickens, eggs, milk.
Everyone is muslim. There are 240,000 Palestinian refuges.
They have 25% of the world's proven oil reserves and employ 5.5 million
foriegners to work in their oil industry.
The capital is Riyadh. A center for all muslims who are to take an annual religious pilgrimage is
the city of Mecca. Other cities include Jiddah, Tabuk, Duba, Al Jubayl,
and Jizan.
Natural resources include oil, natural gas, iron ore, gold and copper.
There are frequent sand and dust storms. It is mostly uninhabited, very dry sandy desert.
It has 13 provinces. A woman has an average of 4 children. It was established in 1932 as a country.
